In am na drochaimsire eagraítear imeachtaí taobh istigh. Déantar iarracht gach lá imeacht éigin a chur ar fáil do achan scoláire sa dóigh is nach mbeidh duine ar bith ag crochadh thart gan rud ar bith le déanamh acu. Eagraítear na comórtais ar bhonn “leagan amach” agus glacann gach scoláire páirt in achan cluiche, bíodh sé comórtas aonair nó comórtas tí. Sa dóigh seo faigheann gach duine go leor seansanna páirt a ghlacadh sa spórt. Eagraítear comórtais chairdiúla go rialta fosta agus uair amháin i rith gach chúrsa bíonn comórtas mór peile idir mhuintir an oileáin agus muintir an choláiste.

Many sporting activities are provided in the afternoon for students. These include:

  • Football
  • Hurling
  • Table Tennis
  • Badminton
  • Volleyball
  • Swimming
  • Celtic Wrestling
  • Long Puck
  • Basketball
  • Chess/Draughts
  • Board Games

When weather does not permit games are organised indoors. Every effort is made each day to ensure that every student will be able to partake in some game or competition. This ensures that no student is left idle for the afternoon. Individual competitions are organised on a “knock out” basis and each student is involved in all competitions. House competitions are organised on a league basis so that each student will get ample opportunity to take part in every activity. Friendly competitions are also organised and once during each course a challenge match between the College and the local island youth is organised.
