Wanted: Memorial Cards

I am collecting memorial cards for islanders as there is a lot of information on them which is useful for genealogical purposes eg date of birth/death as well as photos. I would be grateful if you could forward your cards to Seamus Bonner, Illion, Arranmore, Co. Donegal. Alternatively, you can scan the photo on the card and e-mail it as well as the info on the card to genealogy@arainnmhor.com. The information and photos will be used to update the online genealogy database at http://www.arainnmhor.com/muintir/ Many thanks, Seamus.

Welcome to the new online genealogy database for Árainn Mhór Island, Co. Donegal, Ireland. The system will enable you to share information, view documents, create charts and reports on you family as well as encourage you to vist the island!

To begin working with the data, choose one of the charts from the Charts menu, go to the Individual list, or search for a name or place.

As there are privacy issues with such information, in order to view information about your family it will be necessary to register your details on to the system. Register by clicking on the "Login" Link at the top right of the page and then select "Request New User".
