Margaret Murray to retire after 28 years service

Margaret Murray, the well known taxi driver from Burtonport who has provided 28 years of exceptional taxi service to islanders is to retire. An appreciation function will be held in Skippers Tavern on Saturday the 24th April 2004. Tickets €5. All welcome.

On behalf of the Árainn Mhór website I would like to wish Margaret a very happy and long retirement.  She has provided a great and loyal service over the years to the people of the island and she will be sorely missed.  We wish her all the best.
