It
was standing room only at the play over the weekend when
Arranmore Island Dramatic Association presented their
first production of the season. There were over 200 islanders
of all ages in attendance. Congratulations go to the
group for a very enjoyable night. Special mention goes
to Mick Early, Sadie Bonner and Caroline McCauley for
excellent performances. The community centre raised €500 in
a raffle held at the interval and would like to thank
their sponsors: Taisce Árainn, Sheila & Hugh
Nancy, Fr. Martin Timoney, Thomas & Marina Boyle
and Chris Gaughin. We would also like to thank all those
who helped on the night especially Marie Patsy Gallagher,
Duncan "Security" MacMillan,
Maureen McCafferty, Anna Gallagher, Brenda Proctor, Anne
Gaughin, Noreen Joe Hannah, Donna McDermod, Winnie McCauley,
Brid Byrne, Sadie Bonner, Jerry Early for providing seating
and all the cast of the play.
We
are
looking
forward to the next production already.
