Fund Raising

Unlike other organisations the Lifeboat Institution is funded entirely by voluntary contributions. The hard working team on the fund raising committee are always looking for new ideas & suggestions to raise money for this essential service. There are numerous events organised on the island to help raise funds at a local level. These include air-sea rescue demonstrations, pub quiz's as well as an annual watersport Regatta which is held on the last weekend in July. Anyone wishing to help with fundraising in any way are asked to contact Nora Flanagan @ 00-353-7495-20722. All funds raised in Ireland are distributed in Ireland.
